“All this comes with a responsibility, one in which I am proud to support our coaches and teams in bringing to life.”
With more than a decade of experience in coaching, A’Herne-Evans holds a UEFA A Elite Youth Licence, UEFA A Senior Licence, AFC A Licence as well as being an accredited UEFA and FA Advanced Coach Educator. With a passion for coach development, A’Herne-Evans is eager to unlock the full potential of our already strong line-up of academy and senior coaches and bolster the club’s offering to players.
“Returning as Head Coach of this proud club is an honour, coaching here is unique, every team, coaching group or playing personnel that come up against Brisbane Strikers FC raise their levels and deliver their best. There is no greater expectation and pressure than expecting to win, play brilliant football, be ruthless and professional than when representing this great club.”
“Whilst we all acknowledge there is a rebuild to be had, like every great club, once the wheels get in motion, returning to where it belongs is achievable. Our new board has a clear vision on what Brisbane Strikers FC is, most importantly we are spoilt with a fan base and true club people that are passionate and will as always support us through thick and thin.”
The club is also pleased to confirm that 2024 Head Coach Daniel Carew will remain a key member of A’Herne-Evan’s senior coaching staff, having led the first team to the finals this season.
“Working with Daniel and his knowledge of the league and ability to create a player well-being-focused environment, in particular, has been excellent, together we are confident that we can build on our short time together and continue to drive the club. We have a finals series immediately in front of us and our focus is to do our utmost to bring silverware to Perry Park”
